Tell me about the cutlery

The cutlery you will receive is the Nella/Greban brand, manufactured by Nella Canada specifically for cutlery rental services. This cutlery is widely used in the U.S. and Canada by local service companies for its outstanding performance, quality and durability. This is high quality stainless steel cutlery with your choice of handle colors depending on knife style (see order sheet). This is not thin gauge ‘throw away’ cutlery currently being sold. It is the same cutlery we at Nella bros., Inc. have been renting in our regional service for the last 50 years.

I’d like to see the knives

The cutlery will be first hollow ground to proper edge thickness then ‘edged’ to a superior cutting edge. This process is accomplished by using state of the art hollow grinders and edging/honing machines. You can watch this process on our webcam link.

You can select on the order sheet the style, blade length and blade width you need. Since this is a rental service we have a complete selection of styles and sizes. When selecting ‘full size blade’ we will usually fill these orders with new cutlery however this may not always be the case. ‘Full size blade’ orders will either be filled with new cutlery or previously used cutlery retaining 90% of its original size.

For orders specifying ¾, ½, and ¼ blades, these orders will be filled with previously reground cutlery still maintaining its original length and shape.
